Yoga Classes

Yogo Classes at MarinMMAMarinMMA’s yoga classes are a great way restore the body after a long week of training in martial arts. Because our main instructor, Candace Stump, RYT, practices stand up and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, she has a deep knowledge of how yoga can benefit people training in Martial Arts.

The benefits of yoga for athletes include improvement of musculoskeletal alignment, stimulates circulation and organ function, increases metabolism of stored fat, improves muscular recovery, increases body/self awareness, creates a greater equilibrium of strength, increases range of motion, helps injury prevention, and helps mental clarity and strength.
