Antone HaleyAntone Haley epitomizes the definition of a career Martial Artist, beginning his training at the age of 8. Antone’s martial arts instruction began in the traditional art of Wing Chung Kung Fu. He went on to compete in the International Kung Fu Championships and brought home a total of four gold medals and one bronze. Antone went on to travel to China for advanced training in Wing Chung and while there, also began instruction in on the systems of Bagua and Xing Yi. He accomplished all of this before graduating high school.

Upon returning to the United States, Antone attended college at the University of California in Davis. While at UC Davis, he realized that Wing Chung Fu was limited in practical self-defense, so he began training in the arts of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai boxing. Before leaving UC Davis, Antone would be exposed to the systems of Jeet Kune Do, Kali, and Krav Maga. He would also travel to Thailand to train at the Fairtex Muay Thai camp in Bangplee.

By 2009 Antone earned the title of certified Muay Thai instructor from multiple camps and eventually was promoted to Full Instructor. He is also certified as an Edged Weapons Instructor and a LEO Force Continuum Instructor.

After moving back to Marin in late 2010, Antone traveled to the International Krav Maga World Headquarters in Texas where he received advanced training in Krav Maga.  Antone is currently teaching and training at Marin MMA where he continues to expand his Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills under the expert tutelage of Mikyo Riggs.
