Brigette takes silver in World Championships!

Wed September 5th
 Brigette had limited time to train and faced many hurdles leading up to the biggest tourneyment of her career.  Originally, Brigette signed up for the Junior division, but later decided to step up to the adult division a year early.  Dominating all her fights until a close final left her with the silver medal.  Brigette proved she is one of the top female grapplers in the world!  Look for her to continue to climb on the competition circuit.  We could not be prouder of you Brigette!

    Julian Marquez, also competed in the Mundials.  Julian dominated his first opponent, and lost to UFC veteran and All American Wrestler James Varner.  This is just a speed bump for Julian as he plans to get back on the podium real quickly.

     Alex Rifken also won his first match in the Mundials.  Alex passed the guard multiple times and almost finished the fight twice.  He ended up loosing to the Silver medalist from Nova Uniao Brazil. 

Congrats to all competitors fighting it out on the world stage against the best!  MarinMMA couldn't be prouder!
